Balanced Connections
Who This Workshop Is For:
This workshop is for couples who want to explore boundaries as a foundation for safety, respect, and connection. It may be supportive if you are seeking clearer communication, a deeper understanding of personal and shared limits, or more ease in navigating closeness and space within your relationship.
You may be noticing moments where boundaries feel unclear, hard to express, or difficult to maintain under stress. This workshop welcomes couples who are willing to slow down, tune into their bodies, and explore how boundaries live in sensation, movement, and nervous system response , not just in words.
Workshop Description:
This somatic couples workshop offers a structured, experiential space to explore boundaries through body-based practices. Rather than focusing on discussion or negotiation alone, the work invites couples to sense how limits, consent, and connection are experienced in the body.
Through gentle psychosomatic practices and guided relational exercises, couples are supported in exploring personal boundaries, shared space, and the rhythms of approach and distance in relationship. The intention is not to “fix” boundaries, but to build awareness, regulation, and mutual respect through direct experience.
What to Expect:
Exploring Personal Limits
The workshop begins by supporting each partner in exploring their own boundaries through movement and somatic awareness. Participants are invited to notice sensations, impulses, and nervous system responses related to limit-setting and self-protection, in a safe and supportive environment.Relational Boundaries in Practice
Couples are then guided into partnered practices that explore how boundaries function within relationship. These exercises support attunement, consent, and awareness of how each partner experiences closeness, space, and contact.Communication Through the Body
Rather than relying on verbal explanation alone, couples are introduced to body-based ways of communicating limits and preferences. These practices support clarity and respect while reducing overwhelm or reactivity.Experiential and Interactive Exploration
The workshop includes hands-on, guided explorations that invite couples to move, sense, and respond together. These shared experiences support understanding, coordination, and mutual awareness without requiring analysis or debate.Integration and Insight
As the workshop unfolds, couples are supported in integrating what they notice — gaining insight into relational dynamics, shared values, and habitual patterns, while remaining grounded in felt experience.Closing and Informal Connection
The workshop concludes with a relaxed closing space, including light non-alcoholic refreshments. This offers an opportunity to reflect, share impressions if desired, and transition out of the work in a calm and connected way.
Refreshments, and Feedback: a small non-alcoholic cocktail session, creating a relaxed environment for sharing experiences and providing feedback, fostering further connection and mutual understanding.
Investment in yourself or your relationship for this offering starts at 250$
