Workshop Description:
The holiday season, especially Christmas, is a time that brings back a mix of memories—some filled with joy, others with pain. Perhaps you’ve lost a loved one, and this is your first Christmas without them, making it even harder to navigate the season. Gathering with family can be comforting, but it can also revive old patterns and stir deep emotions. This workshop offers a warm and supportive space where you can share your holiday memories, both good and challenging, and connect with others who understand. We'll explore ways to manage the emotional complexities of family gatherings and help you find the peace and strength needed to embrace the season with an open heart.
What to Expect:
A Safe and Supportive Space: We’ll create an environment where you can openly share your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Confidentiality and empathy are key to our time together.
Guided Reflections: Through exercises and discussions, you’ll reflect on your holiday memories and the emotions they bring up, helping you to process and understand them better.
Insights into Family Dynamics: Learn about common family patterns that resurface during the holidays and how they might be affecting you. We’ll explore strategies for breaking free from these cycles.
Coping Strategies: You’ll gain practical tools to manage difficult emotions and interactions during the holiday season. These may include mindfulness techniques, boundary-setting, and self-care practices.
Connection with Others: Share your experiences and hear from others who are going through similar challenges. This sense of community can be incredibly healing and reassuring.
Personal Action Plan: By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a personalized plan for how to approach the holiday season, tailored to your specific needs and circumstances.
